The main feature of cava Bertha
is its assorted selection of base wines. It is a very important
process to obtain and produce a good quality cava. This
year we have tested more than 50 different base wines, between
Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada, Chardonay and Pinot
Noir varieties. From those 50 wines, we select one of each
variety, each one with enough quality to ensure a good and
desired balance of percentages. With this selection process,
we can confirm that cava Bertha uses the best quality and
prestigious wines from Penedès region. A comparative
taste and a full analytic of each wine, gives us the enough
guarantee of maximum quality.
